DESCRIPTION:Don’t miss out! Get your tickets now for Face It in the Fire!  Join us for an exclusive live chef battle\, delectable tasting portions from local chefs and an evening full of delicious surprise. Cooks & Bakers Kitchen is supporting an event with the nonprofit Face it Together and at our table feature Chef Omar Thornton as one of the competing Chef’s. The organization is an addiction wellness nonprofit\, we provide effective\, compassionate peer coaching for anyone impacted by alcohol or other drugs. Chef Omar Thornton is in his 8th year of sobriety and Face it Together has been with him every step of the way. They are hosting an event at the Washington Pavilion called “Face it in the Fire”. Face It in the Fire will feature a live\, ingredient-specific battle between two chefs on the main stage that will culminate in our winner decided on by a panel of expert judges. While the battle rages\, our guests will enjoy tasting portions from local restaurants featuring appetizers\, desserts and mocktails with the ability to vote on the “People’s Choice” award for the night and the “Best Décor” tablescape.
