Florida native, Joanne Bogus is the owner of Cooks & Bakers Kitchen. She is a 30-year veteran and thought leader in the hospitality industry. Joanne has held management positions in food and beverage, catering, marketing, and sales with prestigious organizations such as Ritz-Carlton, John F. Kennedy Center forPerforming Arts, Hard Rock Café, and Walt Disney World. In addition, during her years in hotel, restaurant, and event management, she developed restaurant start-up plans from concept to opening. Joanne started her own company, JMB Meetings and Events, managing corporate and special events for private clients. Ms. Bogus is a hospitality, tourism, and event management adjunct professor who is committed to the education and development of future leaders in the hospitality industry.
Throughout her career, Joanne’s passion has been cooking, baking and entertaining for various clients, family, and friends. Her love of cooking and baking began in the kitchen with her mother, and she has continued making Mom’s favorite recipes for family and friends. Her extensive travel throughout the US and abroad has introduced her to many types of cuisine, resulting in an expanded passion for cooking. It goes without saying, Joanne’s background in hospitality and event planning has spilled over to entertaining her family and friends at home. The creation of Cooks & Bakers Kitchen allows Joanne to share her passion with you and help develop your “Culinary Creativity at Home”.
Jody has an extensive career in retail and can help you find the perfect gifts and gadgets for the cooks and bakers in your life. She enjoys designing perfect displays and can provide tips for you to design and stock your kitchen with products to fit your home. Her love of decorating allows you to tap into her creativity to design the perfect party at home.
Ann’s career has been rooted in education where she taught a variety of English and speech classes to high school students. Most of those years were spent with the Brandon Valley School District. Two of her favorite hobbies are cooking and design. She delights in entertaining family and friends by cooking new recipes, using the best cookware, bakeware, and gadgets to get the job done. Mark, a former restauranteur, has traveled extensively exploring food from places in the US and internationally. He is dedicated to teaching you easy and delicious recipes, providing cooking tips, exploring the latest cookware and gadgets, and showing you how to extend your grocery dollars each week. Nebraska native, Brenda Kuhn, has 25 years background in retail management and customer service. In her spare time, she is a power lifter and personal trainer. Brenda has two children and loves to cook and bake for her family. Her passion for cooking and baking makes her the perfect team member to help others with cooking on a budget and understanding the need for the basic tools and gadgets to equip your kitchen. Brenda will help make you powerful in the kitchen.
Barrie loves the outdoors, she enjoys biking, hiking, fishing, kayaking, camping, rocks and spending time with family. She has always enjoyed cooking and baking and has fun doing it for family and friends. She diligently searches for recipes and puts her own twist using different ingredients and preparations. Barrie says “Sometimes the end result is amazing and sometimes, glad to have the ingredients to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches!” Delicious food with exceptionally fine coffee makes her day.
