Looking to host a unique birthday, anniversary, shower, or office party? Need a creative corporate night out? Cooks & Bakers Kitchen’s private cooking classes are the perfect way to give your friends, loved ones, or colleagues an evening to remember. We are happy to create for you and your guests an intimate culinary experience from our menu. These are demonstration and hands-on private classes and a three course meal. We also offer corporate events held in our store. Cooking classes are kept small so you can choose to watch from the sidelines or gain hands-on practice in the kitchen. Menu Options
Dinner in Italy – It’s a pasta party! Learn to make fresh pasta Make your own antipasto platter. Here chef demonstrates how to make filled raviolis and sauces. Maximum of 8 guests.
- Chef’s Table– Enjoy a gourmet meal as our Chef takes through a course by course demonstration of their specialties. Great way to share in intimate evening with family and friends. Maximum of 8 guests.
Receptions – Enjoy our private appetizer party to learn easy and delicious appetizer recipes. Have a glass of wine or beer and visit the appetizer stations. Guests walk around sample different appetizers sure to please family, friends and colleagues. Perfect for corporate events. Maximum of 30 guests

- Sunday Brunch – Book you party for a walk around brunch with baked goods, brunch specialties and your favorite coffee drinks from our Jura fully automatic coffee machines. We offer mimosas, wine and beer too. Maximum of 30 guests
- Bridal showers & day with the girls – Join us and V Nails & Spa for a fun day out. Start with Brunch at Cooks & bakers kitchen followed by pampering with Spa manicures & pedicures. Call & book your party today.
- All about apps – Book your private for your next networking and team building event, girls night out, birthday parties or cooking club. Hands on experience in making creative appetizers while sipping on wine or beer. Monday – Saturday. Maximum 8 guests.
Private dinners with Chef Omar Thornton– Chef Omar specializes in Southern cooking. Enjoy a taste of New Orleans with Jambalaya, Gumbo, Etouffee. (check out our calendar for availability)
Previous owner of ‘O’ So Good Restaurant in Garretson, SD as seen on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives with host Guy Fieri. Chef Omar brings all the expertise to our kitchen. A popular teaching chef, has taught many the art of cooking. “I especially love southern cooking and sharing it with South Dakotans”.
